Sally In The Flowers
My dog Sal', she's a good 'ole gal,
Wags her tail and I call her my pal:
Runs around and raise a little hell,
When Sally's in the flowers again.
Grandma's on the porch tonight.
Oh, my gosh, what an awful sight!
Runs around both left and right,
When Sally's in the flowers again!
Chorus:
Oh beg your pardon,
Sally's in the garden,
With a snuffle and a shuffle she goes!
Grandma Russell, oh, you better hustle,
Before you lose another prize rose.
Grandma, she don't mean no harm!
She's the best dog in the whole darn farm;
Just likes flowers and that's her charm,
When Sally's in the flowers again.
She don't bark and she don't bite,
She don't keep you up late at night,
You gotta admit, she's a funny sight,
When Sally's in the flowers again.
