Poor Angus

Poor Angus is a Hamilton-based folk ensemble that delivers everything, from touching ballads to foot-stomping a cappella tunes and instrumentals.

The band is made up of Scott Cameron Smith, Andrew Bryan, Brian LeBlanc, and Ross Griffiths.  Their concerts include well-known Celtic and Canadian works as well as their own original material.


New CD Available!
On March 23, Poor Angus released their new album at a memorable concert performed at the Hamilton Place Studio Theatre.  This collection of traditional and original music brings out everything the group has to offer, from tight vocal harmonies to bang-on instrumental playing.  The even include a cover of Stan's well-known song Fogarty's Cove.
