The Music of Stan Rogers

Stan's songs encompass the depth, pain, love, mystery, joy, heroism, and courage that exists in all of us. While on the surface the style of a particular song may sound, say, 'Maritime' or 'Western', he wrote about everyday Canadians and helped us see in ourselves our true potential and spirit.

	Turnaround

	Northwest Passage
	For his project, Stan turned to the Canadian west and gave us some of the finest songs ever written about the prairies. 	Remembering Stan Rogers; Vol I
	A number of Atlantic Canada's best-known artists gathered for two nights, celebrating and sharing their arrangements of Stan's songs. This first of two volumes includes performances by The Irish Descendants, Terry Kelly, Lennie Gallant, and Bruce Guthro, to name only a few. 	Remembering Stan Rogers; Vol II
	The talent remains as strong and emotions as high as in volume I. Volume II features tracks by Laura Smith, Evans & Doherty, McGinty, Madabo, among others. 	Written by Diane Stapley & Vince Metcalfe and directed by Jim Betts, this musical revue received rave reviews from fans, critics, and musicians alike.
